started in Boise and continued in Portland, paper gates is andy rayborn’s primary solo project. leaning on his compositional skills, he incorporates looping and distorted horns, synth, and vocal melodies/percussion to create dynamic, lush, genre-bending earworms. his singular sound has secured him a regular spot at Treefort for the last decade+, and his sheet music and fingering charts are now taught to collegiate bass clarinet students.
